  • Reconsidered office space

    Cyber security consultants Reliance Cyber were looking to relocate office due to a lease event. Following the pandemic, they needed an office space that would make way for more flexible working practices with additional amenities that support hybrid working. As a longstanding client of ours, Reliance asked us to manage the relocation and fit out process of their new workplace, helping them to create a sleek, minimalist office space that would suit the needs of their business and their people. They opted to take a similar sized space to their existing office but looked to reconsider their office approach.

  • Providing alternative workspaces

    We evaluated Reliance’s existing space and found that the majority of the office was dedicated to fixed desks, which was no longer conducive to the way they worked. In order to support the shift to a hybrid work model, their new workspace had to provide alternative workstations, such as social spaces and informal meeting areas to promote in-person collaboration, and phone booths that enable remote meetings when needed. We also maximised the floorplate with a smaller welcome area complete with tablet technology that allows visitors to register themselves, removing the need for a dedicated reception desk area.

  • Aligning work processes

    Reliance Cyber’s refreshed workspace helps to encourage productivity with task-based work areas that enable staff to work in a space that is most efficient for them. The workspaces are situated on the exterior of the floorplate, providing access to ample natural light to improve wellbeing, whilst the teapoint offers a bright communal space complete with splashes of colour in the furniture and finishes, helping staff to relax and engage on a more informal basis. The design of Reliance Cyber’s new office employs modest branding alongside natural wood and concrete finishes, resulting in a sophisticated, professional working environment that aligns with their new working processes.
